PDF CGA Selection Charts - CONCOA

*Propane in air, methane in air, carbon monoxide in air: CGA 590 Since the combined characteristics of a mixture of gases often differ from the properties of the separate components, different CGA connections are often required. The chart above can be used as a reference for the CGA connections.

PDF 1. Introduction 2. Breathing Air Quality Standards

b. Carbon monoxide (CO) - 10 ppm (1) CGA G-7.1 -1973 listed the maximum limit for CO as 20 ppm. The limit for CO was changed in 1989 to 10 ppm. CO is the deadliest of the toxic gases commonly found in compressed air. Because CO is colorless and odorless, it is impossible for respirator wearers to detect.

OSHA Breathing Air testing | Grade D Breathing Air ...

Both CGA G-7.1 Grades D and E (the most widely recognized SCBA air quality grades) list a 10 ppm maximum CO content. If a good air supply and a properly functioning, efficient compressor are in use, CO levels will be less than 1 ppm. Detectable CO levels above 1 - 2.5 ppm are abnormal and require further investigation.

CGA-Canada legacy website

With this final step of unification at the national level complete, the redevelopment of the CGA-Canada web materials is now in progress and migration of that content to the CPA Canada website will occur later in 2015. Until that time, CGA-Canada legacy content can continue to be accessed by the Canadian accounting profession at www.cga-canada.org.
