Stuck in a restart loop - Linux Mint Forums

Re: Stuck in a restart loop. Post. by gittiest personITW » Mon May 04, 2020 5:48 pm. If I were you, I'd try a few different distributions and see if you constantly get the loop. If so, then most likely it is a hardware problem. Try a Debian distribution as, I assume, you've tried the Ubuntu/Mint.

How to Fix Ubuntu Login Loop Issue? | TechSphinx

Login loop is an issue when you log-in to your system and it takes back you to the login screen again, instead of letting you use the desktop and this process repeats indefinitely. So why do this happen? This happens because of some irrelevant changes to the files in your system caused by the display manager.
