M6 Toll | UK Transport Wiki | Fandom

An M6 Toll tag is an electronic toll collection device attached to a vehicle's windscreen, which records the vehicle's passage through toll plazas on the M6 Toll. Each tag can only be used with the registered number plate and has a unique account. All accounts on the M6 Toll are pre-paid, and must contain a positive balance, sufficient to cover the cost of the vehicle's toll, in order for the vehicle to be allowed through the toll gate.

M6 motorway - Wikipedia

A proposed extension to the M6 Toll known as the 'M6 Expressway', which would have continued from the M6 Toll as far as Knutsford, at which point much of the existing M6 traffic leaves the M6 for Manchester, was abandoned in 2006 due to excessive costs, anticipated construction problems and disappointing levels of use of the M6 Toll.

Toll Calculator - Google Maps with Tolls & Gas Expenses ...

Toll rates are for planning purposes and maybe inaccurate. While toll calculations are available for a variety of vehicles, including commercial vehicles, routing for vehicles other than 2-axle cars and motorcycles should be verified by independent means. In no way should routing be considered safe or legal on its own.

M6 Toll - Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The M6 Toll, also called the Birmingham North Relief Road (BNRR) or Midland Expressway, is a toll motorway in the Midlands. It is used as a way to avoid the traffic on the M6 motorway by Birmingham. It goes from the M6 at Coleshill to the M6 at Wolverhampton. It is a toll road, so drivers have to pay to use it.

M6 Toll | Roads.org.uk

The M6 Toll (or M6T, as we shall call it) is the brand-spanking-new northern bypass for the West Midlands conurbation, attempting to relieve the choked M6 through the urban area, which is not only under capacity, but also carried on a number of elevated viaducts which are now in a very sorry state.
